Operating the DSR-4550
IP Menus
Use the IP menus is to configure the 10/100 port. To access the IP menus, press
ENTER button to return to the main top-level menu (shown below).
Press the
4
buttons until the cursor is at the IP label, and press the ENTER button.
The DSR-4550 displays the first sub-menu within the IP menus.
MAC Address Menu
To view the MAC address for the lower Ethernet port on the back panel of the
DSR-4550, press the

buttons until the MAC Address menu appears (shown
below). The address is represented in a hexadecimal format and non-editable.
IP Address Menu
Use the following procedure to set and view the IP address (range:
000.000.000.000 to 255.255.255.255) for the lower Ethernet port on the back panel
of the DSR-4550. The address is represented in the common dotted-decimal
format. Contact the network administrator for details about configuring the
Ethernet port for operation on your local network.
Press the

buttons until the IP Address menu appears (shown below).
Important: Do not configure the IP Address of the 10/100 and GigE to be on the
same subnet.
To change the IP address, press the
4
button until the cursor is at the Address label, and
press the ENTER button to move into the field. Use the
4
buttons to select the digit
to change and then, while the cursor is on that digit, press the

buttons to display
the desired value. Repeat this process for each applicable digit to be changed.
Press the ENTER button to confirm the selection and exit the field.
