Touch Screen Tips
Notications
Touch – to select a menu item or open an application
Touch and hold – to grab an object that you want to
move or open an option menu
Drag – to scroll through a list or move slowly
Flick – to scroll through a list or move quickly
Press the Power/Lock Key – to turn o your touch
screen and avoid unwanted key presses
Notications let you know when an event has occurred
that may require your attention such as voicemail, missed
calls, text messages, etc. They will appear at the top left of
your screen.
To view your notications, touch the status bar at the top
of the screen and drag it down. Touch each notication
to view the details. When you are done, touch the Home
Key
to return to the home screen.

Home Screen
The home screen gives you all your latest information
in one place. It’s what you see when you turn on the
phone or touch Home Key from a menu. It’s basically
like this:
Status Indicators
Your Online Status: Touch to
change your status.
Notications: Flick this bar
down to see details.
Widgets: Touch to open, or
touch & hold to move or delete.
Flick left or right to view all 5
panels of your home screen.
Shortcuts: Touch to open.
Contacts
Touch to open the Applications
menu.
Dialer
