3. After selecting the desired new frequency, the operator will press the SELECT
key to start the search. The manual frequency search will last up to 40 seconds.
On the OSD, the “MANUAL FREQ” line of text will be cleared, the “HUNT
MODE” will display “FIX” to indicate a search on a fixed frequency, and the
“CUR FREQ” field will change to the frequency being searched for.
4. If the frequency is found with the proper EMM Provider ID, then the OSD “LKC”
field will change to display the new frequency.
5. If after 40 seconds the frequency search is not successful, the product will
perform a warm reset and return to the last known carrier frequency.
6. If the operator would like to abort a search without waiting the 40 seconds, the
POWER key can be pressed to cause an immediate warm reset.
