Chapter 1 Hardware Preparation and Installation

MVME3100 Installation and Use (V3100A/IH1)

To remove the board from the chassis, press the red locking tabs (IEEE handles only) and

reverse the procedure.

Connection to Peripherals

When the MVME3100 is installed in a chassis, you are ready to connect peripherals and apply

power to the board.

Figure 1-1 on page 4 shows the locations of the various connectors while Ta ble 1 - 7 and Ta bl e

1-8 list them for you. Refer to Chapter 5, Pin Assignments for the pin assignments of the

connectors listed below.
