The LC 550 and LC 575 have
4 MB of soldered DRAM. You
can expand the memory to a
total of 36 MB by installing
DRAM SIMMs.
VRAM is unique between the
two machines.
VRAM Note: The Macintosh LC 550 has
512K of VRAM soldered to the logic board and
one expansion slot. Maximum VRAM is 1 MB.
The Macintosh LC 575 has no soldered VRAM
and two VRAM SIMM slots. Maximum VRAM
is 1 MB.
