The Macintosh LC 520 has
4 MB of soldered DRAM and
one 1 MB DRAM SIMM
installed. You can expand the
memory to a total of 36 MB
by installing additional DRAM
SIMMs.
The LC 520 has 512K of
VRAM soldered to the logic
board. It can be upgraded to
768K by adding a 256K
VRAM SIMM that is rated at
80 ns or faster.
Note: Some configurations may come with
768K of VRAM already installed. You can
verify this by checking the number of
available colors in the monitor control
panel. If Thousands of colors are available,
the maximum VRAM is installed.
