Macintosh LC II
The LC II has 2 MB or 4 MB of
soldered DRAM. You can
expand the memory to a total
of 10 MB by installing DRAM
SIMMs.
You must fill both slots with
matching SIMMs when
upgrading memory.
Note:
The LC II has no VRAM soldered to the
logic board. It comes with a 256K VRAM
SIMM installed and can be upgraded to 512K
by replacing the 256K SIMM with a 512K
SIMM that is 100 ns or faster.

Note:
The Macintosh LC II can address a
maximum of 10 MB of DRAM. When you
install 4 MB SIMMs, the lower 2 MB of
memory on the logic board can't be addressed.
