The Macintosh LC has 2 MB of
soldered DRAM. You can
expand the memory to a total
of 10 MB by installing DRAM
SIMMs.
You must fill both slots when
upgrading memory.
Note:
SIMMs can be different speeds, as
long as both SIMMs are 100 ns or faster.

Note:
The Macintosh LC has no soldered
VRAM but has one VRAM SIMM slot with a
256K SIMM installed. VRAM can be upgraded
to 512K by removing the 256K SIMM and
replacing it with a 512K SIMM.
