one DRAM expansion slot. You
can expand the amount of
memory to a total of 72 MB
by installing a 60 ns, 168-
pin, fast-paged mode DRAM
DIMM in the expansion slot.
Note: This card comes with 1 MB of built-
in Video DRAM. You can increase the video
DRAM to 2 MB by installing 5V, 40-pin, 60
ns, 256K x 16, standard fast-page mode SOJ
package DRAM devices in the expansion slots
provided, but both slots must be populated.

Note: If you are adding a 32 MB or 64 MB
DIMM to the 12-Inch PC Compatibility Card
and you are using PC Setup Version 1.5 or
1.5.1, then you need to install the PC Setup
DIMM Patch from one of the Apple Online
Software Updates areas. Later versions of PC
Setup have the DIMM patch incorporated into
them.
IMPORTANT: The 12-Inch PC Compatibility
Card does not support EDO or asymmetrical
DRAM DIMMs. DIMMs purchased from Apple
are 2K refresh rate, so you can safely use
them with the 12-Inch PC Card.
Virtual Memory Note: Apple recommends
you turn off Apple or third-party virtual
memory when using this card.
