LaserWriter Pro

The LaserWriter 600/630
has no soldered memory. You
can expand the memory to a
total of 32 MB.
Some versions of the printer
shipped with 4 MB of DRAM
and a 4 MB upgrade kit,
providing a total of 8 MB of
DRAM.
Note:
The LaserWriter Pro 600 and 630
printers use industry standard 72-pin fast
mode 80 ns SIMMs. Each printer has two
banks.

Note:
Apple manufactures many
LaserWriter Pro printers with one double-
sided 8 MB memory SIMM. To increase
memory, you must first remove the 8 MB
SIMM and then insert the desired memory
SIMMs into the printer.
Note:
When you add memory to a
LaserWriter Pro, you must fill Bank 1
before Bank 2. If you have SIMMs of two
different sizes, you must put the SIMM with
the greater amount of memory in Bank 1.
