Administrative Options
This chapter discusses administrative options to configure support settings of the CB3000 rather than central
operational settings. These include:
• Changing the Password
• Rebooting or Restoring a Device
• Importing or Exporting the Configuration File
• Loading Firmware
• Logging Settings
• Troubleshooting Options
5.1 Changing the Password
Before setting CB3000 security options, verify that an administrative password exists for the CB3000 that is
different from the default password for the device (that can be easily obtained).
To password protect and restrict CB3000 device access:
1. Select Tools > Change Password from the CB3000 menu tree.
