contacts in one place…so you never miss a
family member or friend!
Your Gmail contacts will be synced
automatically.
Your corporate contacts will be synced (if
you so choose) when you set up your
corporate email account.
Your Facebook contacts will be synced (if
you so choose) when you set up the
Facebook application.
Threaded Messaging
The DROID by Motorola organizes your text
messages by contact and provides you a true
chat-like view of your conversations. Read
your sent message along with your friend’s
reply so you can follow the flow and not miss
a beat. Easily follow the flow of multiple
conversations at once and effortlessly keep
your mailbox organized.
1: From the home screen, touch Messaging.
2: Touch New message.
3: In the To box, begin typing the name of a
contact – a drop down window will appear
with contacts matching your entry. Find
the one you want and touch to select.
4: Type your text message and touch Send.
TIP: You can add a little flair to your texts by inserting
emoticons. To insert an emoticon into your text,
simply touch the Menu key > Insert smiley. Scroll
through the different available options and touch
the one you would like to select/insert into the
message.
