Browse the Web

To open the browser screen:

1: From the home screen, touch Browser .

To go to a specific web address:

1: With the browser screen open, slide open the QWERTY

keypad.

2: Type the web address.

3: Press Return Key .

Tip: To zoom in or out on a web page, just tap twice on the screen.

Your DROID by Motorola allows you to open up to 8

browser windows at once, and toggle easily between them:

1: From your home screen, touch Browser.

2: Touch the Menu key to bring up the browser window.

Touch the browser window to enter a specific website

address. Use either the virtual or physical QWERTY

keyboard to enter the URL. Touch Go once complete.

3: To open a new browser window, touch the Menu key >

New Window. Repeat step #2 to enter a specific website

address. Repeat up to 8 times (you can have up to 8

browser windows open at once).

4: To quickly toggle between the open browser windows,

touch the Menu key > Windows > select the browser

window you would like to switch to.

Turn On WiFi

1: From your home screen, touch the Menu Key >

Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi

Set-up a WiFi Network

NOTE: Make sure WiFi is ON first.

1: From your home screen, touch the Menu Key >

Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings >

select the Wi-Fi network that you wish to connect to >

Connect > enter security code if applicable.

Change Notification Tone

1: From the home screen touch the Menu key > Settings.

2: Touch Sound & display > Notification ringtone.

3: Select the ringtone you’d like, then touch OK.

4: Touch the Home key to go back to the home screen.
