General Radio Features
Initiate a Silent Emergency Alarm
1 Press the emergency button
to activate the silent alarm
feature.
During a silent emergency
alarm, there are no display
changes, and the receiver
audio mutes so that no
indication is given that an
emergency alarm has been
sent.
2 To exit the silent alarm mode,
press and hold the
emergency button until a
tone sounds.
Note: If silent emergency alarm is used with emergency call,
pressing the PTT button exits the silent mode and initiates
the emergency call.
