emergency calls
To call an emergency number, open the
slider, enter the emergency number,
and press the Send Key (
¯
).
Your service provider programs
emergency phone numbers, (such as
911), that you can call under any circumstances, even
when your phone is locked.
Emergency numbers vary by country. Your phone’s
pre-programmed emergency number(s) may not work in all
locations, and sometimes an emergency call cannot be
placed due to network, environmental, or interference issues.

When you
receive
a voicemail message, your phone
shows

New Voicemail
. To hear the new message, press
UNLOCK
( ) if needed, then select
Listen Now
. To close the
notification, press the End Key (
–
). The
y
stays at the
bottom of the screen until you listen to your message.
To check your voicemail
with the slider closed,
press
UNLOCK
( ). From the home screen, press the
Dialpad Key ( ), then press and hold the

Key.
