15.3 Using Received Messages
Reply to or forward received messages, or use
received messages to call the sender.
Replying to Messages
Verify the received message and reply to the sender.
You can quote message text.
In the message summary screen:
Note:
• When a reply address is included in the received
message, that address is entered when replying
to the message.
• The reply to an SMS message is sent in the same
character code as the original message.
Forwarding Messages
You can forward messages to another party.
In the message summary screen or received
messages list:
Press To
1 REPLY open a text entry screen
2 keypad enter the message text
3 SEND send the message
Press To
1 M open the Message Menu/MMS Menu
2 g up or down scroll to Forward
3 SELECT select the menu
4 SEND TO enter/select the recipient
5 SEND send the message
Note: Message is sent as the
same format as the original
message.
