This window has three panes:
• The top pane provides a sequenced summary of the packets captured and includes SRC/DEST
address and type of protocol. What you select in this pane determines the additional
information that is displayed in the lower two panes.
• The lower two panes facilitate drill-down into the packet that you selected in the top pane.
In this example, Packet 1 (a broadcast ARP request) was selected in the top pane. The lower two
panes provide further details about Packet 1.
