Interface Designations in SNMP
SNMP identifies the ports of the module as follows:
• Interface 1 represents the Ethernet interface of the module. To monitor the status of Interface
1 is to monitor the traffic on the Ethernet interface.
• Interface 2 represents the RF interface of the module. To monitor the status of Interface 2 is to
monitor the traffic on the RF interface.
These interfaces can be viewed on the NMS through definitions that are provided in the standard
MIB files.
