Regulatory
This field indicates whether the configured Region Code and radio frequency are compliant with
respect to their compatibility. For example, you may configure a 5.4-GHz AP with a Region Code
set to United States and configure a frequency that lies within the weather notch. This is a
compliant combination, the radio properly operates, and its Regulatory field displays Passed. If
later you change its Region Code to Canada, then the combination becomes non-compliant (since
frequencies within the weather notch are disallowed in Canada. In this case, the radio ceases to
transmit, and its Regulatory field displays an error message.
For further information on Region Codes and DFS, see Radar Signature Detection and Shutdown
on Page 127.
Antenna
The presence of this field depends on whether antenna options are available for the module. This
field indicates the polarity of the antenna in the modules as one of the following:
• Horizontal
• Vertical
• External (Connectorized)
Temperature
This field displays the current operating temperature of the device (range −40°C to +55°C (−40°F to
131°F)).
Registered SM Count
This field indicates how many SMs are registered to the AP.
