Customize 53
Setting the Alarm Clock
Set an audible or vibrating alert at up to three preset times. These
alarm clock alerts have no messages attached to them.
To set an alarm:
1. From the menu wheel, select . The Alarm Clock
screen has three tabs that enable you to set three different
alarms.
2. Press left or right, or to select Alarm 1, Alarm 2, or
Alarm 3.
3. Press down to move to the On/Off switch. Press left or
right to select On or Off.
Ä A bell icon ( ) on an alarm’s tab indicates that the alarm is on.
A bell icon also displays on the status line of the menu wheel
screen when an alarm is set.
4. Press to move to the Frequency field. Press left or right
to select how often you want the alarm to go off. Your options
are Once, Weekends, Weekdays, or Every day.
If you didn’t select a frequency of Once, skip to Step 6.
5. If you selected Once, a Date field becomes active just below the
Frequency field. Press to move to the Date field. Press
left or right to change the date (one day at a time).
6. Press to move to the hour in the Time field.
7. Press up or down to change the hour.
8. Press to move to the minute in the Time field.
9. Press up or down to change the minute.
10.Press to move to AM/PM in the Time field.
11.Press up or down to select AM or PM.
12.Press to move to the Alert field. Press left or right to
select the type of alarm you want (audible, vibrate, etc.).
13.To set other alarm times, repeat for the second and third alarm
tabs.
14.Select to save the settings and return to the menu
wheel.
