Product Safety and RF Exposure Compliance
ATTENTION!
This radio is restricted to occupational use only to
satisfy FCC RF energy exposure requirements.
Before using this product, read the RF energy awareness
information and operating instructions in the (Motorola
Publication part number 68009584001) to ensure
compliance with RF energy exposure limits and CSA
Safety Leaflet (Motorola Publication part number
68012006018).
Keep the Quick Reference Guide available to all users of
the radio.

Any modification to this device, not expressly authorized
by Motorola, may void the safety and regulatory
compliance of the radio. The radio must only be repaired
or serviced at authorized Motorola Service Centers.
Contact your dealer or system administrator for details.
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter
may only operate using an antenna of a type and
maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by
Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference
to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so
chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power
(e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful
communication.
This radio transmitter has been approved by Industry
Canada to operate with Motorola-approved antenna with
the maximum permissible gain and required antenna
impedance for each antenna type indicated. Antenna
types not included in this list, having a gain greater than
the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly
prohibited for use with this device.
