Restoring a Nuisance Channel
Procedure:
To restore the deleted nuisance channel, do one of the
following:
• Turn the radio off and then power it on again, OR
• Stop and restart a scan via the programmed Scan button or
menu, OR
• Change the channel via the Channel Selector Knob.
Vote Scan
Vote Scan provides you with wide area coverage in areas where
there are multiple base stations trasmitting identical information
on different analog channels.
Your radio scans analog channels of multiple base stations and
performs a voting process to select the strongest received
signal. Once that is established, your radio unmutes to
transmissions from that base station.
The LED blinks yellow and you see the vote scan icon on the
display.
