4 If there is a previously dialed subscriber ID, the ID appears
along with a blinking cursor.
Use the keypad to edit the subscriber ID. Press
Ng to
select.
OR
Use the keypad to enter a new subscriber ID. Press
Ng
to select.
5 PorQf or h to Remote Mon. and press Ng to
select.
6 Wait for acknowledgment.
7 The display shows Remote Monitor Successful.
OR
The display shows Remote Monitor Failed.
8 If successful:
Once the timer expires, the radio sounds an alert tone and
the green LED turns off. The display shows Remote
Monitor Ended.
OR
If unsuccessful:
The radio repeats the attempt until the programmed number
of tries expires.
Making a Private Call by Manual Dial
Procedure:
1 Sg to access the menu.
2 PorQf or h to Contacts and press Ng to
select.The entries are alphabetically sorted.
3 PorQf or h to Manual Dial and press Ng to
select.
4 If there is a previously dialed subscriber ID, the ID appears
along with a blinking cursor.
Use the keypad to edit the subscriber ID.
OR
Use the keypad to enter a new subscriber ID.
5 Press the PTT button to make the call. The green LED lights
up. The first line displays the target radio’s ID. The second
line displays Private Call and the Private Call icon.
6 Wait for the Talk Permit Tone to finish (if enabled) and
speak clearly into the microphone.
