Using the Keypad
You can use the 3 x 4 alphanumeric keypad on the keypad microphone (Motorola part number: RMN5065_) to access your radio’s
features. You can use the keypad to enter subscriber aliases or IDs, and text messages. Many characters require that you press a key
multiple times. The table below shows the number of times a key needs to be pressed to generate the required character.
