3 PorQf or h to Inbox and press Ng to select.
4 PorQf or h to the required message and press
Ng to select.
A subject line may be shown if the message is from an
e-mail application.
5 Press Ng once more to access the sub-menu.
6 PorQf or h to Reply and press Ng to select.
7 PorQf or h to Quick Text and press Ng to
select.
8 PorQf or h to the required message and press
Ng to select.
9 The display shows Text Message: <Subscriber/Group
Alias or ID>, confirming your message is being sent.
10 If the message is sent successfully, a tone sounds and the
display shows Message Sent.
OR
If the message cannot be sent, the display shows Message
Send Failed.
If the text message fails to send, the radio returns you to the
Resend
option screen (see Managing Fail-to-Send Text
Messages on page 54).
NOTE: If you are using a keypad microphone, you can also
write and send a new message (see Writing and
Sending a Text Message on page 89) or modify a
Quick Text message before sending it (see Editing a
Quick Text Message on page 91).
Deleting a Text Message from the Inbox
Procedure:
Press the programmed Text Messaging button and proceed to
Step 3.
OR
Follow the procedure below.
1 Sg to access the menu.
2 PorQf or h to Messages and press Ng to
select.
3 PorQf or h to Inbox and press Ng to select.
4 PorQf or h to the required message and press
Ng to select.
A subject line may be shown if the message is from an
e-mail application.
5 Press Ng once more to access the sub-menu.
6 PorQf or h to Delete and press Ng to
select.
7 At Delete Message?, PorQf or h to Yes and
press Ng to select.
