8 PorQf or h to the preferred tone and press
Ng to select. The display shows Tone <Number>
Selected and a 9 appears left of the selected tone.
OR
PorQf or h to Turn Off and press Ng to
select. The display shows Telemetry Ringer Off and a 9
appears left of Turn Off.
Assigning Ring Styles
You can program your radio to sound one of ten predefined
ringing tones when receiving a Call Alert or a Text Message
from a particular contact.
Procedure:
1 Sg to access the menu.
2 PorQf or h to Contacts and press Ng to
select.The entries are alphabetically sorted.
3 PorQf or h to the required alias or ID and press
N to select.
4 PorQf or h to Ring Style and press Ng to
select.
5 A 9 indicates the current selected tone.
6 PorQf or h to the required tone and press
Ng to select.
7 The display shows Contact Saved.
The radio sounds out each ring style as you navigate through
the list.
