Turning Bluetooth On or Off
Procedure:
1 g to access the menu.
2 f or h to Bluetooth and press g to select.
3 f or h to My Status and press g to select.
4 The display shows On and Off. f or h to On and press
g to enable Bluetooth. 9 appears beside On. The
Bluetooth icon appears on the status bar.
OR
The display shows On and Off. f or h to Off and press
g to disable Bluetooth. 9 appears beside Off.
Finding and Connecting to a Bluetooth Device
Procedure:
1 Turn on your Bluetooth-enabled device and place it in
pairing mode. Refer to respective Bluetooth-enabled
device’s user manual.
2 On your radio, press g to access the menu.
3 f or h to Bluetooth and press g to select.
4 f or h to Devices and press g to select.
5 f or h to the required device and press g to select.
OR
f or h to Find Devices to locate available devices.
f or h to the required device and press g to select.
6 f or h to Connect and press g to select. Display
shows Connecting to <device>.
Your Bluetooth-enabled device may require additional steps
to complete the pairing. Refer to respective Bluetooth-
enabled device’s user manual.
7 If successful, the radio display shows <Device>
Connected. A tone sounds and 9 appears beside the
connected device. The Bluetooth Connected icon appears
on the status bar.
OR
If unsuccessful, the radio display shows Connecting
Failed.
Do not turn off your Bluetooth-enabled device or press
e
during the finding and connecting operation as this cancels the
operation.

Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on
page 94.
