Chapter 22
Ambient Listening
This feature allows the authorized user to listen to the ambient audio of a specific radio during idle
mode.
When an authorized user starts ambient listening on a specific radio, the radio plays a tone, displays
the ambient listening icon and the alias of the authorized user. Ambient listening stops when a different
type of call is initiated or received.
