280 characters.
If user forwards a text message with characters more
than the maximum length, the text message will be
truncated to the maximum length.
Note:
The radio exits the current screen once the
inactivity timer expires. Any text message in
the writing/editing screen is automatically
saved to the Drafts folder.
Writing and Sending a Text Message
1 Access the Text Message feature.
