Surge
suppressors
should
be
installed
on
any
cables
where
they
enter
a
building
to
reduce
the
possibility
of
over
voltages
or
over
currents
damaging
any
equipment
in
the
building.
The
following
equipment,
mounted
outside
of
a
communications
hut
or
building
at
the
point
where
the
cables
penetrate
the
building,
is
recommended:

the
coaxial

Power
Faults
If
excessive
current
is
drawn
on
a
port,
the
analog
circuitry
reports
a
P
oE
fault.
The
system
then
turns
the
port
power
off
.
The
power
will
be
restored
when
the
fault
is
removed.
The
