Chapter 21
Security
This feature allows the administrator or other radio subscriber to put a radio into a non-functional state
when the radio is missing or in an unknown hand. The radio stays in this state regardless of its power
changes.
The radio can only be uninhibited by receiving an uninhibited command from the administrator or other
radio subscriber.

Disabling Radio
Procedure:
1 Perform one of the following actions:

a From the menu, tap M-Contacts.
b Tap <required contact>→ More→R. Disable.
Disabling radio with Au-
thentication through M-
Contacts
a From the menu, tap
M-Contacts.
b Tap <required contact>→ More→R. Disa-
ble→<authorized pin>→ Save.
NOTE: Applicable to Conventional Digital only.
