• Enable special notification with option, For both, if user prefers to receive audio/video

notifications based on emergency transmit and receive events.

Procedure:

1 Press the Emergency button.

The display shows Emergency Alert pop-up message with 3 seconds countdown.

NOTE: If the Emergency button is pressed during the 3 seconds countdown, the

countdown will reset to 3 seconds.

When Emergency is declared successfully, your radio shows the following indications:

•

The Emergency tone sounds.

• The display shows Emergency Declared banner.

2 To call, press and hold the PTT button.

3 To listen, release the PTT button.

Canceling Emergency

Procedure:

1 Press the Emergency button.

The display shows Cancel Emergency.

2 Perform one of the following actions:

• Select Real Emergency→Send

• Select False Alarm→Send

When Emergency is canceled successfully, your radio shows the following indications:

• The Emergency tone dissolves.

• The display shows Emergency Canceled banner.
