Chapter 35

Transmit Interrupt (Supervisory

Override)

Transmit Interrupt features allows your radio to interrupt an in progress clear or a privacy voice

transmission.

For LMR and Converge Capacity Max, you are able to transmit and receive interrupts. For Converged

WAVE and WAVE only channel, transmit interrupt is known as Supervisory Override and you are only

able to receive interrupts.

Only talkgroup members with supervisor role are able to interrupt on going calls.

35.1

Initiating Transmit Interrupt

Procedure:

To interrupt an ongoing call, perform one of the following actions:

•

Press the PTT button.

• Press the Emergency button.

• For non Capacity Max, perform data transmission.

• For non Capacity Max, press the programmed TX Interrupt Remote Dekey button.

For Converged WAVE and WAVE only channel, the receiving radio display shows the following

indication:

•

Supervisory override icon

•

Call alias

If there is no call alias information, you radio display shows Listening....
