Removing the Battery
Prerequisites:Ensure that your radio is turned off.
Procedure:
Move the battery latch into unlock position and hold, and slide the battery down and off the rails.

Attaching the Antenna
Procedure:
1 Set the antenna in the receptacle.
2 Turn the antenna clockwise.
NOTE: Fastening the antenna blocks water and dust from entering the radio.
CAUTION: To prevent damages, replace the faulty antenna with only MOTOTRBO
antennas.

Removing the Antenna
Procedure:
1 Turn the antenna counterclockwise.
2 Remove the antenna from the receptacle.

Attaching the Carry Holster
Procedure:
1 Align the rails on the carry holster with the grooves on the battery.
2 Press downwards until you hear a click.

Attaching the Universal Connector Cover
Procedure:
1 Insert the slanted end of the cover into the slots above the universal connector.
2 Press downwards on the cover to seat the cover properly on the universal connector.
3 Secure the connector cover to the radio by turning the thumbscrew clockwise.

Removing the Universal Connector Cover
Procedure:
1 Turn the thumbscrew counterclockwise.
2 Slide the connector cover up and out of the slanted end of the universal connector.
