Removing Talkgroup Affiliation
When the affiliation list is full and you want to select a new
talkgroup for affiliation, remove an existing affiliated
talkgroup to make way for the new addition. Follow the
procedure to remove a talkgroup affiliation.

Press to access the menu.

Press or to Scan. Press to select.

Press or to View/Edit List. Press to
select.

Press or to the required talkgroup ID or
alias. Press
to select.
The affiliation status is displayed at the View/Edit
List. The display shows beside the selected
talkgroup ID or alias.

Press or to Edit Affiliation. Press
to select.

Press or to Off. Press to select.
When Off is selected, disappears from beside the
talkgroup ID or alias.

Talkback
The Talkback feature allows you to respond to a
transmission while scanning.
If your radio scans into a call from the selectable group
scan list, and if the PTT button is pressed during the
scanned call, the operation of the radio depends on
whether Talkback was enabled or disabled during radio
programming. Check with your dealer or system
administrator for more information.
Talkback Disabled
The radio leaves the scanned call and attempts to
transmit on the contact for the currently selected
