Composing and Sending Text Message

Tap to compose a new text message to a
contact.
2 Perform one of the following actions:
• Use
New Conversation to start composing
message.
• Search and select the contact from the contact
list.
3 Use the keyboard to type or edit your message.

Tap to send the message.
Viewing Text Message from the Inbox
Tap to view all the messages in the inbox.
Scan Lists
Scan lists are created and assigned to individual channels/
groups. Your radio scans for voice activity by cycling
through the channel/group sequence specified in the scan
list for the current channel/group.
Your radio supports different types of Scan Lists:
• Trunking Priority Monitor Scan List
•
Conventional Scan List
• Talkgroup Scan List
Please refer to a qualified radio technician for the maximum
number of Scan Lists can be programmed in your radio.
These lists must be preprogrammed by a qualified radio
technician.
Viewing Scan Lists
From the Home screen, tap the Scan List.
