Turning the Radio Tones/Alerts On or Off
You can enable and disable all radio tones and alerts
(except for the incoming Emergency alert tone) if
needed.
Press the programmed All Tones/Alerts button.
Tone heard ... Indication
Positive Indicator tone All tones and alerts are
ON.
Negative Indicator tone All tones and alerts are
OFF.
Checking the Battery Strength
You can check how much battery power you have
left.
Press the programmed Battery Strength button to
view the battery strength via the LED indicator.
LED indicator Indication
Solid Yellow Radio has a fair battery
charge.

Solid Green Radio has a full battery
charge.
Turning the Voice Announcement On or Off
Note:
The Voice Announcement feature can only be
enabled via the MOTOTRBO CPS. If enabled,
the Text-to-Speech feature is automatically
disabled, and vice versa.
This feature enables the radio to audibly indicate the
current Zone or Channel the user has assigned, or
programmable button press. This audio indicator can
be customized per customer requirements.
Press the programmed Voice Announcement
button.
Setting the Text-to-Speech Feature
Note:
The Text-to-Speech feature can only be
enabled via the MOTOTRBO Customer
Programming Software. If enabled, the Voice
Announcement feature is automatically
disabled, and vice versa. Check with your
