7. Restart your computer when requested.
Upgrading the MCU (Motorola Client Utility)
Application
1. Perform steps 1 through 4 of “Uninstalling the MCU (Motorola Client Utility) Applica-
tion” on page 23.
2. In the screen that appear after step 4, check the “Update the previous installation” and
click Next. The MCU is being updated.
3. Restart your computer when requested.
You must restart your computer to
complete full removal of the MCU.
The WDE1000 must be inserted into
your laptop computer before
updating the MCU (Motorola Client
Utility) application (see “Inserting
WDE1000 Into Your Laptop
Computer” on page 8).
