Installing the MCU (Motorola Client Utility)
Application
Perform the following steps:
1. Quit all Windows applications.
2. Insert your WDE1000 into your laptop. The following screen appears after few seconds
for first installation:
The MCU must be installed by a
system administrator.
The WDE1000 must be inserted into
your laptop computer before
installing the MCU (Motorola Client
Utility) application (see “Inserting
WDE1000 Into Your Laptop
Computer” on page 8).
When inserting the WDE1000 into
your laptop computer before the
installation, a “New Hardware
Found” pop-up dialog appears.
Press “CANCEL” wether the driver
name is displayed or not.
