RECORDING ON THE PAPER DELIVERY RECORD

If you are recording on a Delivery Information Record due to a DIAD failure, report the failure

to your center and request a replacement DIAD.

When recording on paper, keep in mind that tracking information must be phoned in to the CSC

to meet the transmission-time commitments.

When you phone in, provide the CSC (or the center) with:

• Your name.

• SLIC number.

• Package tracking number.

• Shipper number (required only if a standard label is used instead of a 1Z label).

• Last name of the receiver.

• Time of delivery.

• The code number on the Delivery Information Record when reporting

non-deliveries.
