If a DIAD restart occurs while you are in the middle of a stop (prior to pressing
Stop Complete), the last line of data must be re-entered. The DIAD will restart and return to
the Delivery Address screen. You must go to the screen you were working on prior to the
restart and key enter the last line of information.
You should report any DIAD restarts to the center team at the end of the day.
EXCEPTION REPORTING
DIAD Drivers
On Next Day Air and International or 2nd Day A.M. (Commercial) packages, phone in these
exception types to the CSC (or center) within 30 minutes.
Misloads not delivered.
Bad address (NSS, NSP, NSN, Moved, etc.).
Damages.
Off area (out of service area, out of territory).
Delivered after committed time.
No delivery attempt.
Not delivered.
Non-DIAD Drivers
Phone in exceptions on all tracked packages to the CSC or center.
