PRINT (Main Menu Option 7)
This option is used for uploading delivery stop information so it can be printed at the customer’s
location using either:
Print Buffer (replaces the PAS)—A small print buffer box uploads delivery data from
the DIAD using a DOI, and prints directly on the customer’s printer, or
Print At Stop (PAS)—A small printer and DOI (DIAD Optical Interface) held in a
carrying case.
Note: A limited number of these are left in the field.
Transmitting Data
1. Make sure the optical window on the DIAD (under the DIAD on the upper-right corner) is
aligned with the DOI (DIAD Optical Interface). This has to be a snap-on clip with DIAD
III.
2. After recording all the packages at the stop and clarifying the customer signature, press
Stop Complete 4.
3. Press Big Arrow Up . The Main Menu appears.
4. Press 7 (“Print”). The DIAD screen displays the Print Stop Menu List.
