RADIO TRANSMITTER DISABLE FUNCTION
To disable the radio transmitter in areas with notices to turn off electronic devices:
1. From the Main Menu, press 6 (Comm).
2. From the Communications Menu, press the soft key beneath “Rad Off”. The
radio transmitter is then disabled.

• When disabled, the DIAD will prompt the user every 10 minutes asking if they want
to enable the radio transmitter.
The Radio Transmitter is Currently Disabled

• Press the soft key beneath “Yes” to enable the radio or beneath “No” to continue
the disable function.
