responsesoundsthroughtheradio’sspeaker.ThePrivate
Calliconappearsonthetoprightcorner.Thersttextline
showsthesubscriberalias.Thesecondtextlinedisplays
thecallstatus..

speakclearlyintothemicrophone.
4ReleasethePTTbuttontolisten.
Whenthetargetradioresponds,theLEDblinksgreen,the
radiounmutesandtheresponsesoundsthroughtheradio's
speaker.
5IftheChannelFreeIndicationfeatureisenabled,youheara
shortalerttonethemomentthetransmittingradioreleases
thePTTbutton,indicatingthechannelisfreeforyouto
respond.PressthePTTbuttontorespond.
Ifthereisnovoiceactivityforapredeterminedperiodof
time,thecallends.Youhearashorttone.Thedisplay
showsCallEnded.
Yourradiomaybeprogrammedtoperformaradiopresence
checkpriortosettingupthePrivateCall.Ifthetargetradio
isnotavailable,youhearashorttoneandseenegativemini
noticeonthedisplay.
