Special Radio Features
Site Lock
This feature allows your radio to lock onto a specific site and not roam
among wide-area talkgroup sites. This feature should be used with
caution, since it inhibits roaming to another site in a wide-area
system.
Lock or Unlock a Site
Use the Menu
Use the Preprogrammed Site Lock/Unlock Button
1 Press U or V to find SITE.
2 Press D, E, or F directly
below SITE.
The current lock state is
displayed.
3 Press D, E, or F directly
below LOCK or UNLK.
• The new site-lock state is
saved.
• Your radio returns to the
home display.
1 Press the Site Lock/Unlock
button.
The current lock state is
momentarily displayed.
OR
2 Press and hold the Site Lock/
Unlock button until you see the
desired lock state.
