Common Radio Features
PL Defeat
With this feature, you can override any coded squelch (DPL, PL, or
network ID) that might be preprogrammed to a channel.
Place the preprogrammed
PL Defeat switch in the PL
Defeat position. You can
now hear any activity on the
channel. The radio is muted
if no activity is present.
When this feature is active,
the Carrier Squelch status
indicator (C) will be
displayed.
