Actions for Received Messages
3 Select Forward.
4 Create and send your message.
Embedded objects and attachments are included
when you forward a message.
Locking and Unlocking
When you lock a message, it cannot be deleted
until you unlock it.
1 View the message you want to lock or unlock.

If you have already viewed the message, scroll
to it.
2 Press m.
3 Select Lock Message or Unlock Message.
Calling a Number in a Message
If a message you receive contains a phone
number, Private ID, or Talkgroup ID, you can call
or send a call alert to that number.
These numbers may appear in the From field, the
To field, the Cc field, the subject line, or the body
of the message.
Making a Phone Call
1 View the message.
2 Highlight the phone number you want to call.
3 Press s.
Making a Private Call
1 View the message.
2 Highlight the Private ID you want to call.
3 Press the PTT button.
Sending a Call Alert
1 View the message.
2 Highlight the Private ID or Talkgroup ID you want
to alert.
3 Press m.
4 Select Alert.
5 Press the PTT button.
Making a Group Call
1 View the message.
2 Press m.
3 Highlight the Talkgroup ID you want to call.
4 Select Talkgroup.
5 Press the PTT button.
