Using Your Phone as a Modem
Note: This feature may not be offered by your
service provider.
You can use your phone as a modem with a laptop,
handheld device, or desktop computer. In order to
use your phone as a modem, you must create
either a wired or wireless connection between your
phone to the other device.To connect your phone
wirelessly, you must have a Bluetooth adaptor for
the other device. To create a wired connection, use
a data cable.
Connecting with a Data Cable
To use a data cable to connect your phone with a
laptop, handheld device, or desktop computer:
1 Open the connector cover
2 With the phone’s display facing up, insert the
data cable’s connector into the accessory
