Getting Started
To start using your i605 phone:
• Make sure your SIM card is in place.
• Charge the battery.
• Activate your service.
• Enable over-the-air security if you are prompted
to.
Locating Your SIM Card
Your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is a
small piece of plastic located in the SIM card
holder in the back of your phone, underneath the
battery.
If your SIM card is not in the SIM card holder, it
may be in the box your phone came in, attached to
a piece of plastic about the size of a credit card. If
this is the case, carefully detach your SIM card
from the surrounding plastic and insert it as
described in “Inserting Your SIM Card” on page 14.
If there is no SIM card in your phone or the box,
contact your service provider.
