Accessing Contacts with GSM Phones
Ifyouaremakingaphonecall:
• Your phone places the call to the phone number
assigned to the Contacts type displayed.
• If the Contacts type displayed is not a phone
number, your phone places the call to the phone
number stored in the Contacts entry.
• If the Contacts type displayed is not a phone
number and you have more than one phone
number stored in the Contacts entry, your phone
prompts you to select the phone number you
want to place the call to.
After Selecting an Entry
1 Access Contacts.
2 Select the Contacts entry that contains the
number you want to call.
3 Scroll to or select number you want to call.
4 To make a phone call, press s. -or-
To make a Private call, press the PTT button.
Ifyoutrytomakeatypeofcallthatdoesnotmatch
theContactstypeofthenumberyouchose,nocall
is placed.
Accessing Contacts with GSM
Phones
Ifyouplantousetheinformationstoredin
Contacts with an i2000, i2000plus, or any other
GSM phone, download iDEN Phonebook Manager.
Go to idenphones.motorola.com/iden/support for
more information.
You can use iDEN Phonebook Manager to make
the Contacts information saved to your i860
phone’s SIM card accessible in this type of phone.
